Alliance Française de Limerick

We offer a high quality of native french teaching and extra cultural events for our students.

Alliance Française de Limerick is the oldest Alliance Française in Ireland. Set up in 1944 by a like-minded group of French language enthusiasts in Cruise’s Hotel it was first known as ‘The French Circle.’ By 1969 the French Circle had become part of the worldwide organisation Alliance Française and we have been promoting the French language and culture on a non- profit making basis in the Limerick region ever since.

All of our teachers are native French speakers, qualified and experienced at teaching French as a foreign language. Through regular assessments they will follow your progress closely and advise you personally. Our small groups have a maximum of 12 students allowing you to feel at ease and benefit from more individual time with your teacher. We also offer individual classes at times convenient to your schedule.

WHY CHOOSE ALLIANCE FRANCAISE?

Alliance Française de Limerick offers morning, afternoon and evening French classes at all levels for adults, adolescents and young children. All classes are given by native French speakers.

  • International focus – our students come from across the globe

  • Quality courses – taught by native french teachers.

  • People not profits – education is a right not a privilege

We will be holding revision days for Junior Cert and Leaving Cert students. One-to-one sessions also available.
