Founded in 1883 in Paris, the Alliance Française is a worldwide organisation whose main objective is to ensure the continued teaching of French and to encourage all who have a taste for the language and culture of French speaking countries. Alliance Française is present in 138 countries with 1200 associations run by local committees, welcoming in the region of 400,000 students each year.

Alliance Française de Limerick began in 1944. If you wish to become a member, you can use our library and attend our social and cultural events. The fee is €5 per year.

On July 14th we all meet at our premises No.7 Pery Square to celebrate the French National Day.
